I am Amber Hinds, owner and photographer of Amber Hinds Photography. I am a mother of three beautiful children who you will often see captured on my blog. I have met amazing people over the years as a photographer and can honestly say each client holds a special place in my heart. My clients make my job easy and fun! I love to capture the moment! I specialize in weddings, portrait sessions with growing families, seniors, newborns and more!
In 2006, my best friend was getting married and told me I was going to photograph her wedding. It was the first wedding I had ever done and I was a little nervous to say the least. Prior to her wedding I had only photographed my children and landscapes. I won numerous awards for my still shots and never thought I would use my talent any other way. I of course said yes and five years later I thank her for pushing me. We all have those people in our lives that see us for more than we see ourselves. If it was not for her, I am pretty sure my business would not be where it is today. I love what I do and wouldn’t trade it for anything.
A few years ago a client asked me, what makes you different from other photographers? I took a moment to respond because I had never asked that question to myself and at first I thought…me…I am what makes me different. You can see my fun and outgoing personality in every photo I take. But what truly makes me different is every photo I take tells a story. When a customer receives their proof book, they are not receiving a pile of loose photos to fumble through; they receive a book that tells a story. This is your story…and each story is unique.
